Credential Direct launches new lower commission schedule

In a move that greatly simplifies and lowers the cost to trade online Credential Direct, Canada’s #1 online broker, announced today a lower commission schedule including ‘flat-fee’ pricing.
Web traders now pay just $19 flat-fee for web-based stock trades of 1000 shares or less, or for $2000 principal value or less. Options web trades are now super-competitive at just $19 +$1.25/contract. In addition the multiple price levels have been reduced to just one, making it easier to compare our commissions to other brokers. Telephone trades are even simpler, adding just $14 to our new low web commissions.
Active Traders pay just $9.95 FLAT for all stock trades while still enjoying the lowest qualification threshold in the industry (25 or more trades per quarter).
